EIS delivers secure, reliable, and globally accessible IT infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments to support Fidelity’s applications, digital services, and dynamic working models.\nENS plays a critical role in delivering secure, scalable, and innovative network solutions that power global enterprise operations. We are a global team of 70+ professionals across the UK, Europe, India, and APAC. ENS transitioned to an accountability-based operating model in Q1 2026. Under this model, the organization is structured into seven technical service groups, each led by a manager who serves as both a people leader and the accountable owner for their services. These groups include Network Engineering, Core Network, Network Security, Traffic Gateway, End User Connectivity, Multimedia, and Common Services.\nAs part of Fidelity’s broader technology transformation strategy, ENS is accelerating the adoption of AWS and Azure cloud platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code, DevOps engineering practices, API integration, and end-to-end service automation. This transformation aims to improve operational efficiency, service reliability, scalability, and engineering agility while enabling our teams to leverage modern cloud-native technologies and automation capabilities.\nAbout your role\nAs a DevOps Engineer within ENS, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting automation solutions across multiple ENS technology domains. The role acts as a shared engineering capability supporting a broad portfolio of enterprise network, security and multimedia services, helping product teams accelerate delivery through modern DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.\nAbout you\nWe are looking for individuals who are passionate about technology, automation, and continuous improvement, and who are excited about contributing to the next generation of Enterprise Network Services at Fidelity.\nWhile the role is primarily focused on DevOps and automation engineering, a genuine interest in networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise technology platforms is important for long-term success.\nThe successful candidate will possess a strong software engineering mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for automation. The role requires an individual who can bridge traditional infrastructure engineering with modern DevOps practices, enabling ENS teams to accelerate delivery while maintaining operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nNetowrk Automation & Operational Support\nDevelop and maintain network automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, APIs and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.\nSupport automation of network provisioning, configuration management and operational processes across ENS services.\nAssist with the development and maintenance of Terraform modules and automation workflows.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting application, infrastructure and platform deployments using DevOps best practices.\nIntegrate network, cloud and security platforms through APIs and automation frameworks.\nSupport network technologies including routing, switching, DNS, VPN, load balancing, firewalls and cloud networking.\nContribute to monitoring, reporting, compliance validation and operational efficiency improvements.\nProduce technical documentation, operational procedures and knowledge articles.\nParticipate in operational support including on-call, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.\nCross-Team Collaboration\nWork closely with Network, Cloud, Security and Collaboration teams to deliver automation solutions.\nSupport infrastructure and transformation projects through automation and engineering best practices.\nParticipate in technical design discussions and solution reviews.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation.\nExperience and Qualifications Required\n3-8 years of experience in Network Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nExperience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.\nFamiliarity with REST APIs, JSON, and infrastructure automation frameworks.\nExposure to Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), or configuration management tools.\nExperience with Git and version control practices.\nBasic understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps methodologies.\nGood understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, Routing & Switching, VPN, Load Balancing, and Network Security.\nFamiliarity with Firewalls, SDN, SD-WAN, Zero Trust concepts, and Cloud Networking technologies.\nBasic knowledge of Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms and related networking services.\nUnderstanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies and operational support processes.\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, or container technologies is desirable but not required.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across global teams.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical skills.\nFeel rewarded\nFor starters, we’ll offer you a comprehensive benefits package.
