So, join our FIL Dalian Systems team and feel like you’re part of something bigger.\nAbout your team\nSystem department is to provide delivery and support services to internal systems.\nAbout your role\nThe position is for an experienced senior Full Stack developer/specialist. The candidate will have deep expertise in backend development-particularly in Java, databases, and web service technologies-along with solid knowledge and hands-on experience in application security, especially in API authentication.\nThe candidate should be able to implement complex business logic. As S/he may do development and deployment in the AWS environment, the AWS knowledge and experience would be a plus.\nThe successful candidate will deliver complex delivery tasks which would involve interaction with the business and system analysts for understanding the requirements followed by design, development and unit testing of the software. The candidate is expected to support global customers, so the English skill is required.\nWhen required, the candidate will perform application performance tuning, identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions.\nThe role may need support Fidelity Global partners such those in the Canada, UK, Indian, Hong Kong etc. based on business needs, the individual will need to work night shifts for 2-3 days per week (Shift working time from 1PM to 10 PM). An allowance will be provided on the shift day per company’s policy.\nThe candidate is expected to display professional ethics in his/her approach to work and exhibit a high level ownership within a demanding working environment.\nAbout you\nExtensive experience in Java/Web/API development.\nExperience in Third party frameworks, Framework development experience, Oracle and SQL\nExperience in workflow related technologies\nExperience with AWS or other cloud systems\nExperience software development to integrate with different backend systems\nExperience in Tools that assist Development, Testing, Build and Source code Versioning.\nDocumentation skills and familiarity with project management methodologies.\nAPI Integration Platform experience will be an added advantage.\nExperience & good understanding of full development life cycle\nDelivery and results focused.\nWell presented with good communication skills.\nAble to prioritise own activities, work under pressure.\nTeam player.\nBusiness English is required.\nOne last point - if it goes without saying, it should not be included.
