This role will be part of the technology team tasked with developing business critical technology solutions designed to automate manual processes.\nWhat You Will Do\nThe Full Stack Developer, FCC is responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying, and maintaining software solutions for internal and external clients, with a focus on automating business processes.\nProvide solution architecture, document design, code, develop program logic for new applications, analyze and modify logic in existing applications and ensures that system improvements, particularly those related to process automation, are successfully implemented.\nEnsure that functional specifications can be implemented technically while developing and innovating commercial technology assets to meet objectives.\nImplement the best practices of Agile and DevOps for development to deliver quality products predictably and consistently.\nDevelop unit tests to ensure high quality code and be accountable for the quality of the product delivered.\nComplete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance\nLiaise with internal user groups as needed to effectively program applications based on business and systems requirements.\nWhat We are Looking For\n5+ years of experience in web development, object-oriented analysis and design, and service-oriented architecture knowledge.\nExperience designing and developing web-based platform to automate business processes.\nStrong knowledge of modern automation architecture, technologies, and processes.\nExperience with automation platforms (Appian, RPA or similar).\nHands-on experience with the following: Angular (Typescript), JavaScript, Java, Hibernate, RESTful API, Spring Boot - creation of microservices.\nKnowledge of SQL and database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server.\nExperience in using Agile project management tools (JIRA, Confluence), and automated delivery pipelines CI/CD.\nExperience developing cloud native solutions according to industry best practices.\nUnix/Linux operating system knowledge.\nThe following are considered an asset:\nExperience with cloud-based applications on AWS.\nWealth management, brokerage, or financial services experience.\nCompletion of the Canadian Securities Course.\nThe Expertise You Bring\nIn-depth technical insight and experience to inform, guide, challenge and support technical decisions.\nExtensive analytical, conceptual, and innovative problem-solving abilities.\nStrong technical aptitude and able to adapt to new technologies quickly.\nClear and concise communicator, both written and verbal.\nGoal-oriented and a self-starter.\nAbility to quickly learn, adapt and change to meet the needs of a changing environment.\nGood multitasking capabilities and ability to work effectively in an agile environment.\nEducation and Experience\nUniversity Degree/College Diploma, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.\nWe use AI-enabled LinkedIn Hiring Assistant to support parts of our sourcing process.
