We are seeking an upbeat, hardworking Full Stack Engineer to join us in defining the future for our organization. We will have a focus on modernizing and building innovative cloud-native experiences, capabilities, and platforms in support of millions of customers who are seeking products that provide guaranteed income and/or protection. We are an emerging group in Fidelity with strategic financial backing. As a member of the team you’ll craft and influence creative solutions that meet not only functional, but also performance, scalability and reliability requirements.\nThe Expertise and Skills you bring\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.\n5 plus years of experience in full stack development, with at least 2 years in a senior\nProficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Java, Python).\nExperience in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation).\nExperience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).\nSolid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.\nUnderstanding and experience in Keel framework/Keel Node/scripting is a plus\nExperience in design and implementation of end-to-end solutions across front-end, back-end, and cloud infrastructure.\nDevelop high-quality, maintainable code using modern frameworks and languages (React, Angular, Node.js, Java, Python, etc.).\nCollaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver robust and user-friendly applications.\nEnsure compliance with security standards and implement monitoring and observability solutions.\nStay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to architecture and processes.\nHigh levels of engagement at the team and group levels; Desire to learn and impact outside your primary tasking.\nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders\nExperience in designing, implementing, or maintaining systems that support Term Life Insurance operations such as policy administration, underwriting and claim processing is a plus.\nThe Team\nThe Fidelity Insurance Group (FIG) Technology team is a recently established group aimed at providing transparent solutions and support for all of FIG’s business functions. We partner with internal FIG stakeholders and multiple organizations across Fidelity, most notably the Fidelity Insurance Agency (FIA) to deliver modern solutions on that scale. It is an exciting time in this space with much potential for growth and innovation!\nFidelity’s Onsite Working Model\nFidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles.
