You will work with business stakeholders, Engineering Leader, and Engineering Team to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. You’ll be involved in all phases and layers of application development, including front-end, back-end services, data integrations, quality validations, and production stability.\nThe Value You Deliver\nBuilding robust full stack data solutions for FGS business stakeholders, aligned with architectural roadmaps while ensuring platform stability, scalability, and resiliency \nDesigning and implementing enterprise data integration solutions leveraging Oracle, ETL processes, AWS, and Snowflake data warehousing capabilities \nImplementing engineering standards and best practices and contributing to engineering excellence across the organization \nDeveloping modern user interfaces using Angular framework and scalable backend services using Python and Microservices API frameworks \nParticipating in Agile ceremonies and collaborating with business stakeholders, Engineering Leader, and Engineering Team to gain a deeper understanding of business needs and deliver value for customers \nEnsuring application reliability through production monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous process improvements \nOwnership towards the final quality on production release \nThe Skills that are Key to this role\nPython, Oracle, ETL Processes, SQL with strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts \nMicroservices API Frameworks, Angular, AWS Cloud Services, Containerization Technologies, Docker, GitHub, and Snowflake \nExpertise we are looking for\n6+ years of experience in multiple IT areas including Data Engineering, Application Development, Oracle, ETL technologies, AWS Cloud, and API development \nStrong experience in developing enterprise applications using database technologies and frameworks \nExperience building and supporting Microservices-based architectures and REST API frameworks \nStrong knowledge of AWS Cloud services with hands-on experience in containerization technologies, Docker images, and cloud-native application deployment \nExperience working with GitHub-based development workflows, source control, and CI/CD practices \nKnowledge of Snowflake and Data Warehousing concepts supporting enterprise-scale data solutions \nBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technology-related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Software) required \nCapacity to quickly understand and incorporate new technologies \nExperience working in an Agile software development environment \nBehavioral skills\nStrong analytical and technical skills to be able to address complex issues \nImplementing best practices acquired through prior experience for any process improvement \nHigh level of commitment, initiative, vision, and enthusiasm \nMust be able to work in a matrixed environment, with diverse set of stakeholders \nStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively across business and technology teams \nHow Your Work Impacts the Organization\nFidelity Global Security (FGS) supports Fidelity's security operations through secure onboarding, background investigation processes, vendor screening, and security application management.
