The team is responsible for sending out millions of service, marketing, and regulatory communications to outside WI participants. Work involves document composition using Quadient Inspire and OpenText Exstream. This person will play a key role in building, testing and release of product features in Agile delivery fashion.\nPerforms design and development of applications on sophisticated projects using both packaged software applications (Quadient Inspire) and custom-built applications\nUse of Sophisticated data types (XML, JSON, multi-line variable data record formats)\nProgram, test and solve sophisticated workflows\nSet up primary workflows to support Document Template design using Inspire Interactive\nDefine document blocks. Compose Document Templates using Inspire Interactive\nDefine Scalar workflows for automatic processing of input data files\nGenerate emails in HTML or plain text\nProactively find opportunities to improve process\nAssist in resolving internal/external inquiries related to input/output requirements, intended usage, strategic planning, and alignment of these elements to internal checks, controls, and quality assurance\nParticipate in team efforts to standardize new and existing process\nAssist with data file analysis\nContribute to the upkeep and consistency of internal documentation related to issues, resolutions, usage topics, and training\nThe Expertise and the Skills You Bring\nBachelor’s degree in computer science / similar technical subject area and/or equivalent experience\nProven experience in analyzing, crafting, and developing platforms\nExperience in the Quadient Inspire platforms Versions 11/12/14+\nExperience in OpenText Exstream platforms a plus\nExperience in using Inspire Scaler, and Interactive modules\nExperience in composing Batch, On Demand Communications\nExperience in Inspire Scripting\nQuadient Inspire Designer: min 10 years (Recent experience required)\nQuadient ICM: 10 years (Recent experience required)\nExperience in print industry a plus\nPositive and consultative demeanor with strong work ethic and the ability to interact with technical and non-technical resources using excellent written and verbal communications\nThe Team\nFidelity's Workplace Investing is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to play a key role in the building and improvement of a new platform for communications. Part of this work includes using Quadient to ensure we are meeting participant demand. This person will perform hands-on development and testing of many of these key areas. As a scrum team member, you will be part of a dynamic team with an opportunity to partner closely with the business and technology teams and will be a key enabler in creation/adoption of how Workplace Solutions applying Quadient.
