You will play a key role in shaping technical direction, engineering standards, and the delivery of modern microservices and user interfaces supporting investment solutions managing over $950bn in assets.\nThe Expertise and Skills You Bring\nYou have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent and are passionate about continuous learning and technology innovation.\nRequired Experience\nMinimum 10 years of software design and development experience.\nStrong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.\nExperience with Angular or a similar front-end framework.\nExperience designing and developing microservices-based applications.\nExperience working within Agile teams and delivering incremental business value.\nUnderstanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Maven and Jenkins.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience with automated testing tools such as Karate, Playwright, Storybook, or similar frameworks.\nExperience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.\nExposure to AWS and/or Kubernetes.\nExposure to messaging technologies such as Kafka.\nInvestment Management or Financial Services domain knowledge.\nAs a Technical Lead, You Will\nProvide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to engineers across the team.\nPromote engineering excellence through code reviews, automation, testing, and DevOps best practices.\nContribute to architecture and design decisions for business-critical applications.\nPartner with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.\nHelp establish and maintain engineering standards across the team.\nWe Are Looking for Someone Who\nManages priorities effectively across multiple workstreams.\nCan triage issues, perform root cause analysis, and make sound decisions in complex or time-sensitive situations.\nChampions best practices in software engineering, CI/CD, automation, testing, and code quality.\nBuilds strong relationships and collaborates effectively with distributed teams and stakeholders.\nThrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and agile environment.\nThe Team\nIn this role, you will contribute to the development of technology solutions used by Portfolio Analysts and Portfolio Managers supporting more than $950 billion in assets under management across Retirement and College Savings solutions.\nYou will help enhance a suite of microservices and user interfaces that provide portfolio construction, modelling, and trading capabilities.
