You will leverage cloud-native technologies, open-source solutions, automation, and AI-powered developer tools to create scalable platforms that support modern software development practices.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDesign, develop, and support platforms that enable code quality, automation, and engineering efficiency.\nEnhance and administer code quality solutions, including SonarQube and related tooling.\nBuild and operate cloud-native applications in AWS and Azure using containers and Kubernetes.\nDevelop platform capabilities that provide visibility into code health, technical debt, and quality trends.\nPartner with engineering teams across the enterprise to deliver scalable solutions supporting a wide range of technologies.\nUtilize AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Gemini Code Assist to improve engineering workflows and productivity.\nDrive adoption of engineering best practices, automation, and quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.\nMeasure platform adoption and engineering outcomes through data and analytics.\nThe Expertise and Skills You Bring\nExperience designing, building, and supporting cloud-native platforms and developer tools.\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.\nExperience deploying and operating containerized applications using Kubernetes.\nKnowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.\nExperience working with code quality and software governance tools such as SonarQube.\nStrong understanding of software engineering principles, application architecture, and modern development practices.\nExperience integrating open-source technologies into enterprise platforms.\nAbility to analyze platform usage, adoption metrics, and code quality trends using data and analytics.\nExperience collaborating with engineering teams to establish and scale development standards and best practices\nThe Team\nThe Code Quality Platform team is part of Fidelity Architecture & Engineering's Software Delivery Platforms organization. The team builds and maintains the platforms, tools, and services that help engineers across the enterprise deliver high-quality software more efficiently.\nFocused on engineering excellence, developer productivity, and continuous improvement, the team leverages open-source technologies, cloud-native platforms, automation, and AI-powered tooling to enhance the developer experience.
