This is a hands-on role as an individual contributor and responsibilities include technical leadership, insight, and mentoring to peers.\nThe Expertise You Have\nBS degree in Computer Science or related software engineer field.\n6 plus experience on Angular 17+ / Node.js / REST API using Spring Boot / microservice application development.\n3 plus years on experience on AWS serverless (Lambda) / API gateway / ACM / Secret manager.\nDevOps knowledge in Jenkins pipelines, containerization/orchestration experience (Kubernetes/KubeCTL/Docker).\n6 plus years of technology experience in the development and implementation of software solutions in highly scalable environments with focus on financial technologies particularly electronic trading.\nTerraform experience will be a plus.\nExperience in overall end-to-end Software Engineering in an agile environment.\nAbility to work in a fast paced, highly matrix environment to achieve group goals.\nDesire and aptitude for learning new technologies.\nAbility to communicate problems and recommend solutions to project leaders.\nThe Skills You Bring\nProven hands-on development skills with technology leadership\nDemonstrated Understanding and proven track record for cloud-based solutions, continuous integration/deployment and cloud architecture.\nWillingness to partner optimally with your technology business partners\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nThe Value you Deliver\nParticipate in problem solving, troubleshooting, performance tuning, production support, and maintenance of existing applications.\nWorking across cloud infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs.\nImplementing with AWS services technologies and practices, building applications using services such as AWS EC2, ECS, Lambda, EMR, Cloud Formation.\nCoordinating with the team on engineering and continuous integration and delivery CI/CD practices.\nExecuting with web, event driven, caching, batch architectures, designing systems for high throughput, low latency, high availability, and fault tolerance.\nFidelity’s Onsite Working Model\nFidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.\nThe base salary range for this position is $97,000-185,000 USD per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.\nBase salary is only part of the total compensation package.
