The ideal candidate enjoys designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure product quality and release readiness. You will be encouraged to work closely with application owners, developers, and engineering managers to review requirements, build automation frameworks and implement solutions in an Agile environment.\nWe seek a hardworking individual capable of bringing a software engineering approach to our testing practices by providing innovative ideas on how to design, develop and maintain our test suites and infrastructure.\nThe Expertise You Bring\nBS or above in Computer Science or related field\n6 plus years of professional Testing/Development experience involving UI and API Automation\nVerifiable experience building and maintaining an automation framework in a large enterprise environment using Playwright and/or Cypress\nVerifiable experience using Typescript and/or JavaScript and Cucumber/BDD\nAbility to investigate, isolate, and solve technical issues across the full technology stack by using automated & manual testing methodologies\nVerifiable experience following standard methodologies for testing Angular/Vue based UI and RESTful webservices\nExperience in a DevOps environment with CI/CD tools; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy\nExperience with Code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar), is a plus\nAbility to work in a fast paced, highly matrix environment to achieve team goals\nA desire and interest in learning innovative technologies\nExperience using business requirements to craft, develop and maintain test plans, test cases\nWork as part of team of SDET’s focused on automation and build reusable artifacts\nA learning demeanor to your work and are eager to master and adopt new technologies\nThe Expertise You Bring\nDefining and developing a suite of automation tests for Emerging Business\nWorking closely with product, developers, and engineering\nRapid prototyping to validate good and bad ideas quickly\nWriting source code, adapting existing components, and testing developed components\nEnsuring designs meet performance, security, usability, and reliability and scalability requirements\nThe Team\nThis role will be on an Agile team working within the Emerging Business. You will work with another automation engineer, multiple developers, a product manager to help create and test new products in this space.\nThe team works on a 2-week cadence and there is lot of cross squad collaboration in our space. You will also be part of the Emerging Business/Digital Chapter and the automation community within.\nFidelity’s Onsite Working Model\nFidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues.
