Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDevelops original and creative technical solutions to on-gong development efforts.\nDesigns applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.\nDevelops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.\nSupports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.\nAssists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.\nDevelops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.\nResponsible for post-installation testing of any problems.\nEstablishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.\nWorks on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.\nPerforms independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing full-stack development and automated testing using Java, JavaScript, Angular, RESTful web services, and Selenium in a financial services environment.\nOr, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing full-stack development and automated testing using Java, JavaScript, Angular, RESTful web services, and Selenium in a financial services environment.\nSkills and Knowledge:\nCandidate must also possess:\nDemonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software to support employer sponsored integrated financial, health, and benefits solutions, using mid-tier technologies (Java EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, or Apache Camel), front-end technologies (React, Angular, or Indexed DB), SQL/NO SQL technologies (Oracle/DB2, PL/SQL, or Impala), test frameworks (Junit, MockMVC, or Mockito), and design tools(UML, Draw.io, or Gliffy).\nDE implementing software to support employer sponsored integrated financial, health, and benefits solutions, using automation and deployment technologies -- AWS, Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, Veracode, SonarQube, or EKS.\nDE performing requirements gathering, analysis, and solutioning; performing technical design documentation, testing, and deployment using Confluence or Git; and providing support for ongoing maintenance of database applications in an Agile Project Model using Jira.\nDE deploying and monitoring Web-based services to provide CI/CD of scalable multitiered Web applications using Jenkins, NPM, or Maven (package management); performing version control using Git, issue tracking, and using Jira, Service Now or Quality Center, and log tracking using Splunk; providing CD according to Agile methodologies; monitoring customer facing and business critical applications using Splunk, AppDynamics, or Data Dog; and performance testing applications using JMeter/MOX to provide improvement recommendations.\nFidelity’s Onsite Working Model\nFidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles.
