Prior development experience in investment management domain will be a strong plus.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for the development of quality software components that are used by Portfolio Managers, and Analysts in managing of over $100 Billion in High Yield, Credit Alternatives, and Systematic Investment Research Funds. You will engage, shape, and productively contribute to Alphabet, our flagship portfolio construction platform.\nIn addition to building software, you will have an opportunity to help define and implement development practices, standards, and strategies across multiple teams.\nThe Expertise You Will Bring\nBachelor's degree (or higher) in a quantitative or computational field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics.\n2 plus years of hands-on experience in building complex software solutions preferably working with investment management professionals.\nAbility to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders including researchers, portfolio managers, and technology partners.\nFull-stack software development knowledge preferably with Angular, Java, Spring Boot\nExperience with testing, including writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.\nFavor Agile development practices that prioritize the incremental delivery of working software and respond well to change in requirement scope.\nAbility to accept and adapt to scope changes incorporating it seamlessly.\nUnderstanding of Fixed Income instruments, security analytics, investment workflow and functioning of bond markets is a significant plus.\nExperience with AWS cloud environment development and deployment is a plus.\nKubernetes/EKS deployment and operations management exposure is a plus.\nProgress towards CFA program certification is a significant plus.\nThe Team\nWe have a passion for technology and love fixing and solving complex problems.\nWe enjoy working in teams, love to collaborate, share, and learn.\nWe are self-motivated, take initiative, and make decisions with a bias for action.\nWe care about the quality of our work, favor strong coding standards and patterns, and build with testability in mind.\nFidelity’s Onsite Working Model\nFidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles.
