You will partner with engineering and business teams to increase system reliability, reduce defects, and strengthen overall product health.\nKey Responsibilities\nBuild and maintain automated test suites to validate product quality and release readiness \nExecute targeted manual testing where it adds the most value \nEnable teams with effective test management practices that improve delivery outcomes \nPartner with engineers to expand test coverage and reduce defect leakage \nContinuously improve testing strategies, tooling, and execution to increase efficiency and effectiveness \nThe Expertise You Have\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). \n3+ years of experience in test automation and software quality assurance. \nProficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress). \nStrong programming/scripting skills (Java, Python, or JavaScript). \nExperience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). \nFamiliarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured). \nUnderstanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. \nDevelop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems. \nDesign and implement test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools. \nCollaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test requirements and coverage. \nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance. \nAnalyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and report defects effectively. \nMaintain documentation for test cases, scripts, and automation processes. \nEnsure compliance with quality standards and best practices. \nHigh levels of engagement at the team and group levels; Desire to learn and impact outside your primary tasking. \nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders \nThe Skills You Bring\nExcellent communication skillsand collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organization\nDrive a strong quality practice and influence the team to focus on quality in each sprint \nContinuously focus on improving stability and resiliency of critical business processes and applications \nAbility to drive the test automation strategy within the team \nHands on experience with crafting and maintaining testing frameworks like Junit, Cucumber, Cypress \nIntermediate Java skills \nGood understanding of web services testing \nSQL skills is a must \nData analysis and technical troubleshooting \nBuild efficiencies in testing that increase agility and time to deliver business value \nThe Value You Bring\nCreate efficiencies in testing that increase agility and time to deliver business value \nDrive a strong quality practices and influence the team to focus on quality in each sprint \nContinuously focus on improving stability and resiliency of critical business processes and applications \nThe Team\nWithin FFIO Quality Engineering, we partner with engineering teams across FFIO and Enterprise Technology to elevate product quality, improve delivery outcomes, and ensure systems are resilient, stable, and ready for scale.\nFidelity’s Onsite Working Model\nFidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles.
