We'd still like to hear from you! \nMany technical backgrounds provide the skills needed to succeed as a Generator Technician. Experience in diesel or heavy equipment repair, industrial maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC, automotive or truck repair, marine engines, power generation, construction equipment, or military mechanical and electrical roles all translate well. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, solid diagnostic skills, and a willingness to learn, we provide the training and support to help you build a successful career servicing commercial and industrial generator systems.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems.\nTroubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines.\nTroubleshoot electrical circuit boards.\nPerform routine generator maintenance to include oil and filter change, fuel filter change, and cooling system services.\nTroubleshoot complete electrical systems.\nWork with customers on a one-on-one basis.\nComplete and submit work orders and reports.\nPrepare accurate quotes for repairs.\nMaintain truck inventory.\nPREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School diploma or GED.\nVo-tech school or Military training, a plus.\nJohn Deere, Cummins, and/or Caterpillar engine training is preferred.\nTraining on Automatic Transfer Switches.\nMust have a valid driver's
