They ensure that emergency generators can handle full electrical capacity during power outages. Would be responsible for safely operating a 2-megawatt truck mounted load bank.\n\nCore Duties & Responsibilities:\nEquipment Setup: Transport, position, and connect resistive load bank and cables to diesel or gaseous generators.\nTesting Execution: Run diagnostic tests to measure voltage, amperage, frequency, and oil pressure under varying electrical loads.\nData Logging: Record exact performance metrics at scheduled intervals during continuous testing cycles and generating reports for customer records.\nPreventative Maintenance: Identify anomalies such as wet stacking, overheating, or voltage drops, and perform basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting.\nSafety & Compliance: Adhere to NFPA 110 standards, OSHA guidelines, and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) safety protocols.\nPerform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems.\nTroubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines.\nTroubleshoot electrical circuit boards.\nTroubleshoot complete electrical systems.\nWork with customers on a one-on-one basis.\nComplete and submit work orders and reports.\nPrepare accurate quotes for repairs.\nMaintain truck inventory.\n\nPreferred Education & Experience:\nEducation: High school diploma or equivalent;
