Working independently as well as collaboratively, it is important for this person to have a positive approach to leadership, teamwork, and a drive to deliver groundbreaking solutions every day.\nThe Expertise You Have\nHave at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent, with a preference for advanced study\nMinimum 8 years of software design, development and performance testing experience\nDeep hands-on experience in Software Performance Engineering\nDemonstrated skill in Java, Spring, Python, Linux\nHands on experience using tools like jMeter to build performance harness for software benchmarking\nWillingness to guide and mentor junior team members on solid engineering practices\nPrevious exposure to trading systems or brokerage technology\nKnowledge of the FIX protocol is a plus\nThe Skills You Bring\nAbility to understand end to end platform and identify issues that can cause performance, scalability or resilience issues\nEffective analytical, communication, and organizational skills and a willingness to run with multiple tasks at a given time\nThrive in a team environment, collaborating openly and actively contributing\nAble to innovate independently and work with leadership\nFamiliarity with event driven and service-oriented processing is required\nDemonstrated work experience with cloud technologies.
