The position will report to the Regional Manager.\nThe overall purpose of this position is to manage the day-to-day operations and management of a large Branch, to ensure that all Security Officers are posted as per Contractual agreements, that all site-specific security requirements are adhered to and that the Client’s needs are efficiently and professionally met at all times.\nKey Performance Areas: (Not totally inclusive)\nOverall management of the Branch which includes the following key functions, Operations, Financial Management, Transport, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, ISO, Client Portfolios, Contractual agreements, SLA’s etc.\nManagement of Operations Mangers / Site Managers and Supervisors to ensure that all Client matters are dealt with promptly.\nManagement of staff by applying the four major functions of a manager, planning, organizing, leading and controlling.\nAttending to daily / weekly /Monthly meetings with Clients as stipulated and when required.\nAttending daily / weekly, /monthly internal Management meetings as required.\nQuarterly appraisal of Operations and Administrative staff.\nTraining and development of staff.\nSuccession planning of staff.\nAssisting with the preparation of the annual budgets and ensuring that all managers maintain and adhere to set budgets\nAsset control.\nFleet control.\nFirearm control.\nResponsible for staff, duty rosters and training\nEnsuring that due process is followed regarding the submission of quotations for purchases or repairs\nEnsuring that all operations comply with the standards and procedures required by the quality management system\nSubmission of monthly and quarterly reports as required by Management.\nRisk assessments on Client premises.\nInvestigation reports.\nEnsuring that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the Client.\nMaintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Client with regard to security services rendered.\nConstantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the Client regarding the improvement of services.\nEnsuring that Security staff maintains required performance at all times.\nDealing with all required administration matters.\nLiaising daily on various operational issues.\nQualifications, experience and other competencies required:\nMatric certificate, PSIRA Grade A registration and accreditation.\nAt least 10 years’ experience in the security industry.\nSenior Security Management experience in managing a large security work force. \nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management and its requirements.\nPeople management experience and skills.\nAdministration, interpersonal communication and client liaison skills are required.\nStrong planning, leadership, organisational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.\nExperience in Financial Management /Budgets.\nExperience in managing a fleet of vehicles.\nAssertive / Goal driven / Self motivator / passion for the business.\nComputer literacy on Microsoft Programs.\nOwn reliable transport and valid Driver’s Licence is required.\nNo criminal record.\nExcellent track record.\nFirearm Competency.\nCore Competencies:\nStrong planning skills\nLeadership skills\nOrganisational skills\nGood interpersonal skills\nCommunication skills\nClient liaison skills\nWe reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.\nWhilst preference is always given to existing employees and the choice made purely on merit, Historically Disadvantaged Candidates and Disabled Candidates are encouraged and supported in the FSG team. \nFidelity Security Group (Pty) Ltd supports global fair practice and business ethics on continuous development of our human capital as the key resource to our success in the markets in which we participate.
