The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all security personnel are trained in accordance with regulatory standards, company policies, and operational requirements.\nThis role requires a strong background in security operations, compliance, and adult learning, as well as the ability to manage training programs that enhance the skills, professionalism, and performance of security personnel.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, implement, and manage regional training strategies aligned with company objectives and industry regulations.\n\nEnsure all training complies with PSIRA requirements, health and safety legislation, and relevant industry standards.\n\nConduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and operational training requirements.\n\nFacilitate and oversee training programs for security officers, supervisors, and management.\n\nMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements where necessary.\n\nMaintain accurate training records and ensure all staff certifications remain current and compliant.\n\nManage and mentor training officers and instructors within the region.\n\nCoordinate induction and refresher training for new and existing security personnel.\n\nLiaise with operational management to ensure training supports operational readiness and service delivery.\n\nEnsure all firearms, tactical, and compliance-related training meets legislative and company requirements.\n\nPrepare training reports and provide regular feedback to senior management.\n\nMinimum Requirements\nGrade 12 (Matric).\n\nRelevant qualification in Training, Education, Security Management, or related field.\n\nRegistered with PSIRA (minimum Grade A preferred).\n\nFacilitator / Assessor / Moderator accreditation.\n\nMinimum 5-8 years’ experience in the security industry, with at least 3 years in a training or management role.\n\nStrong knowledge of security operations, legislation, and compliance requirements.\n\nExperience in developing and implementing training programs.\n\nValid driver’s license and willingness to travel.\n\nKey Competencies\nLeadership and people management\n\nTraining facilitation and instructional design\n\nStrong communication and presentation skills\n\nPlanning and organisational ability\n\nCompliance and regulatory knowledge\n\nProblem-solving and decision-making\n\nWe reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.
