This role reports to the Director of Engineering.\nWhat you’ll get to do:\nCutting-edge technology SaaS solution hosted on AWS that enables today’s and tomorrow’s Gig economy.\nBackend built on PHP, MySQL, and increasingly Node JS and Golang microservices, exposed via REST API\nFrontend built with React and Redux.\nServices built and deployed using Docker containers managed by Kubernetes.\nWork closely with the engineering team, Product Management, UX, and our customers to ensure we are building and delivering impactful features.\nAbility to prepare technical designs and delivery plans independently.\nBring fresh ideas on how technology can be used to solve big problems.\nYou might be a good fit if you have:\n7+ years of software development experience.\nStrong focus on testing best practices.\nStrong JavaScript, React, and Redux knowledge.\nAbility to write clean HTML/CSS; experience with preprocessors (LESS/SASS) a plus.\nBackend web experience: PHP, JavaScript, Node.js, Golang, etc.\nAdvanced SQL knowledge - MySQL and PostgreSQL experience.\nExperience with APIs and services (REST API).\nExperience with legacy codebases - refactoring, improving, or sunsetting old systems.\n Event-driven architecture experience.\nFamiliarity with Git version control.\nKnowledge of Linux/Unix systems (Ubuntu/Debian a plus).\nExperience with Web Services-based solutions (REST) and microservice architecture.\nBroad technical knowledge - able to integrate multiple technologies to solve big problems.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work well across teams and mentor junior engineers.\nAbility to break down large initiatives into manageable pieces.\nExperience working with offshore teams is a plus.\nWork Schedule and Location:\n Working days: Hybrid, Monday to Friday (3 Work from Home + 2 mandatory Work from Office days)\nWorking hours: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM\n Location: Uttara 12, Dhaka, Bangladesh\nSalary Range:\nBDT 220,000 - 285,000 (Monthly)\nWhy we think you'll love it here:\nAt Field Nation, we believe great work deserves great support.
