Our platform helps construction owners build retail stores like Walmart, restaurants like Burger King and more. \nWe’re a venture-backed team that's led by founders that have worked at companies like Uber, Clutch, RBCx etc.\n\nThe role\nYou'll be joining as our first founding engineer and will work with us in person at our Toronto office to build our AI agent platform for construction. At its core it’s an agent harness customized around the work that contractors need to get done. You'll work on every part of the stack, from the harness itself to the web app our customers use every day.\nWe're looking for someone who can take a loosely defined problem and run with it. You'll own features end to end: shaping the idea, shipping it, talking with customers, and supporting their use in production.\n\nWhat you'll do\nBuild and extend our agent harness, including tools, skills, and how the agent reasons over construction workflows\nShip features across the whole stack: the harness, evals, infra, sandboxes, and our web app\nTurn rough problems into a clear scope, then deliver them\nHelp shape the product, tech, and the culture, early engineers set how we build and work together\n\nWhat we're looking for\n2+ years of software engineering experience\nHighly motivated self-starter\nExperience building AI agents, skills, and tools\nAI-pilled, but not a slop cannon. You use AI heavily, and you still own the judgment and the quality of what ships.\nStrong problem solving and clear communication\nInterest in product design\nCustomer-focused.
