This person will supervise and assist every member of the team in doing their specific job effectively, as well as coach to improve when needed. Lastly, this person will be a team player and work with all other departments at the brewery to meet company goals and initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain and promote a safe work environment at all times through continuous safety training participation and providing all necessary Personal Protection Equipment to greatly reduce safety risks.\nOversee and engage with union personnel (Forklift & DOT) to deliver efficiencies and results \nEnsure efficient and accurate production through proper training, documentation and analysis from the bottle house (production) to the transportation (delivery) and all stages in between.\nCommunicate effectively within the department, between other departments, and with all outside carriers, suppliers, or customers. \nEngage the workforce and manage the employee relationships within the department to encourage a cohesive goal-oriented team. \nWork with employees to create a culture of safety that educates employees in warehouse policies and procedures.\nOngoing full analyses of production, shop orders, production numbers, lot codes, and BPCS transaction reconciliation. \nLive-load scheduling, coordination and expediting to increase efficiency. \nContinuous verification of receiving raw materials, maintain an open line of communication with purchasing and packaging departments to ensure accuracy. \nCoach, develop, mentor, engage and evaluate employees including documentation, training, and disciplinary action as needed. \nRecognizes good performance and initiates follow-up whenever necessary.\nServe as a leader and role model to the Warehouse Employees by “Leading by Example”. \nHelp standardize positions in the warehouse to provide clear expectations to all personnel in various roles in the warehouse (safety, duties, and cleanliness). \nAssist in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) and communicate such rules to the team.\nFull understanding of the relationships in warehouse: production, variety packing, and shipping.\nFull support of the Warehouse Coordinator through education and coverage where necessary.\nWorks with and indirectly supervises maintenance employees/personnel to assist with equipment problems, troubleshooting, and execution of PM work.\nEnsure shipping accuracy: ship the right product in the right quantities, on time.\nMaintain complete and accurate inventory at all times, review the processes and procedures surrounding inventory, and participate in inventory count teams.\nEnter maintenance work orders and follow through on progress to ensure hazards, etc. are addressed and/or corrected. \nActively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment. \nQualifications\n5+ years of Warehouse experience preferred.\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Skype).\nExperience with inventory tracking, shipping and receiving \nLeadership and multitasking abilities.\nPhysical Requirements & Environmental\nAscending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.\nMoving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces. \nRemaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.\nMoving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.\nAdjusting or moving objects up to 30 pounds in all directions. \nCommunicating with others to exchange information. \nRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.\nAssessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned\nNoisy environments. \nHazardous conditions.\nAbility to work in warm and cold temperatures including outdoor when needed.\nPerks\nGenerous Benefits with options to fit your life\nBlue4U Discounts\nRetirement Options with employer contributions\n10 paid holidays per year\nFlexible scheduling\nGenerous paid time off\nTechnology reimbursement options\nCulture of pride and community involvement\nAnd of course, beer! \nIn the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $62,700 - 94,100/year, not including benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at FIFCO USA, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
