Whileoperatingwithin the Bank's risk appetite,achievesresults by consistentlyidentifying, assessing,managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nEstablish workflow priorities and resource alignment to support effective execution across deal and portfolio activities.\n\nMaintain aforward-looking, independent assessment of borrower and portfolio creditworthiness, including early identification of emerging risks, and escalate emerging risks ornonstandardsituations to senior credit leadership asappropriate.\n\nDrive credit excellence metrics, including asset quality, policy adherence, underwriting quality, risk rating accuracy, problem loan identification, andtimelyremediation of issues.\n\nEnsure consistent application of credit policy, underwriting standards, and portfolio management practices across teams.\n\nEngage with clients and prospects as needed,typically in support of Banking partners and senior credit leadership, particularly in complex or sensitive situations.\n\nChampion continuous improvement initiatives, special projects, and strategic enhancements to credit and portfolio management processes and systems.\n\nEnsure system integrity, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance across the portfolio.\n\nProvides ongoing coaching and mentoring of Credit Solutions professionals.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:\nIncludesthe directand indirect supervision and direction of the day-to-day activities of Credit Solutions professionals. Responsible for providing employees withtimely, candid, and constructive performance feedback. Develop employees to their fullest potential andprovidechallenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth. Develop theappropriate talentpool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning. Recognize and reward employees for accomplishments.\nMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE,SKILLSAND ABILITIES REQUIRED:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fieldrequired;advanced degree preferred.\n\nMinimum of8years of experience in commercial credit, portfolio management, underwriting, or credit risk leadership.\n\nStrong commercial credit underwriting, structuring, portfolio management, and legal documentation.\n\nDemonstrated leadership skills.\n\nProven ability tomaintainaforward-lookingview of portfolio risk and proactivelyidentifyemerging credit issues.\n\nDeep knowledge of commercial lending policies, regulatory requirements, and risk governance frameworks.\n\nStrong communication,organizational,and analytical skills.\n\nProficiencywith internal banking systems and Microsoft Office tools.\n\nCredit LeadAt Fifth Third, we understand the importance of recognizing our employees for the role they play in improving the lives of our customers, communities and each other.
