While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nDefines and implements standards for data strategy, code quality, and lifecycle management while providing technical guidance and mentorship on automation, data engineering, and best practices.\nDesigns, builds and maintains large and complex information sets optimized for performance and reliability; Integrates and extracts relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data (internal and external) to enable analytical solutions.\nDevelops reusable frameworks, APIs, and tools that empower analysts and data scientists to work efficiently.\nSeeks out and identifies ad hoc, manual or fragmented processes and transforms them into automated, reliable, deployable solutions using modern practices.\nPartners with key stakeholders to understand business needs, translates business strategy and goals into manageable problems, and formulates, communicates, and gains buy in for solutions with well defined, measurable outcomes.\nProduces ad hoc reporting and analytics to support requests from the Bank's various lines of business.\nProvides input into the creation of detailed project plans, work assignments, target dates and other aspects of assigned projects.\nMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED\nBachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
