While operatingwithin the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.\nESSENTIAL DUITES AND RESPONSBILITIES:\nServe as a Trusted Advisor by developing close, personal relationships with clients and their families, integrating technical fiduciary componentswith each client’s unique personalsituationand values.\n\nAnticipate clients’ Private Bank service offering needsand coordinate with Private Bank and One Bank partners along withexternaladvisors.\n\nActively participatewith the Private Bank team by providing support related to expanding and deepening existing relationships.\n\nActively participatewith the Private Bank team to support new trust business; participatein client presentations, as requested, and serve as subject matter expert concerning fiduciary strategies.\n\nUnderstand existing client relationships and create trust optimization strategies to expand and deepen relationships, such as regular estate planreviews, client meetings, and best practice advice.\n\nOversee the administration of complex trust accounts, ensuring compliance with trust documents, legal requirements, and company policies.\n\nResponsible for the review and interpretation of estate planning documents,timelyand accurateadministrationof trust income and principal.\n\nPossess strong technical understanding of complex fiduciary documents and strategies.\n\nCoordinate appropriate PrivateBank resources, as needed-- including the tax liaison team, operational support, in houselegal counsel and leadership, to ensure proper fiduciary responsibility is maintained.\n\nManage the due diligence process on all new fiduciary appointments, including reviewing all critical documents to ensure a complete understanding of client needs and the bank’s ability to meet those needs.\n\nPlay a key role in overall client satisfaction and retention.\n\nIdentifyat-risk clients and proactively work to resolve all client issues to drive retention.\n\nMaintain accurateand up-to-date records of all trust activities.\n\nMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CTFA, CFP) preferred.\n\nMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in trust and estate administration, with a proven track recordof managing complex trust relationships.\n\nStrong knowledge of trust and estate laws and regulations as well as industry standardsand practices.\n\nDemonstrated ability to advise and deliver on complex fiduciary strategies.\n\nDemonstrated proficiencyin exercising fiduciary judgement and discretion.\n\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsto deliver best-in-class client experience.\n\nAbility to work in a team orientated/matrix environment.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\n\nProficiencyin and Microsoft Office Suite.\n\nHigh ethical standards and a commitment to fiduciary responsibility.\n\nExhibits a sense of urgencyand continuous improvement mindset.\n\nSenior Trust AdvisorAt Fifth Third, we understand the importance of recognizing our employees for the role they play in improving the lives of our customers, communities and each other.
