Serves as the primary interface with trust accounting systems and operations, and implements internal policies and procedures effectively.\nResponsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Banks risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nClient Service:\nFrequent direct communication with client.\n\nSupport advisors in executing and implementing decision-making aspects of trust administration.\n\nSupport the administration of multigenerational trusts, often with discretionary income and principal payments distributed among multiple family members.\n\nSupport the Trust Advisor in the execution of the terms of trust documents.\n\nPartner with advisors to retain client base by partnering with internal and external service providers to optimize effectiveness and efficiency in achieving the highest client service standards.\n\nPartner with advisors to set client expectations.\n\nPartner with advisors on client meeting materials.\n\nAssist with client relationship management tools.\n\nAccount Administration:\nSupport advisors to ensure compliance and proper documentation requirements are met, consistent with internal fiduciary policies and procedures regarding business and asset acceptances, discretionary actions, and all other bank policies, procedures, and guidelines.\n\nWork closely with advisors and Trust Tax Team to ensure proper tax reporting is complete.\n\nReview daily trust activity.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None\nMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES REQUIRED:\nBachelor’s degree strongly preferred.\n\nMinimum 3-5 years fiduciary client service/sales experience preferred.\n\nCTFA or other professional designation, obtained or working toward, preferred.\n\nSignificant experience and expertise within Trust.\n\nKnowledge of trust administration, estate planning strategies, and income and estate tax matters.\n\nEffective time management skills and ability to multi-task.\n\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\n\nExhibits a sense of urgency and continuous improvement mindset.\n\nAbility to work in a team orientated/matrix environment.\n\nStrong computer/technical skills required: Ability to use all Microsoft Office software, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CoPilot.\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nNormal office environment.\n\nExtending viewing of computer screens.\n\nTrust AdministratorTotal Base Pay Range 71,100.00 - 145,900.00 USD AnnualAt Fifth Third, we understand the importance of recognizing our employees for the role they play in improving the lives of our customers, communities and each other.
