The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Commvault, Pure Storage and/or NetApp, along with practical experience managing Kubernetes clusters and Container Network Interfaces (CNI).\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Manage and support enterprise-level backup and storage environments using Commvault, Pure Storage, and NetApp.\n\n- Perform daily backup operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of backup and restore issues.\n\n- Configure, maintain, and optimize SAN, NAS, and disk-based storage systems.\n\n- Manage backup configurations for various data sources, including VMware, SQL, Exchange, Unix, Windows, and Kubernetes environments.\n\n- Maintain and troubleshoot backup jobs, including Auxiliary Copy, Data Aging, retention policies, and tape library management.\n\n- Support backup and data protection for Kubernetes/containerized workloads.\n\n- Configure and troubleshoot Kubernetes networking and CNI solutions.\n\n- Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes cluster networking, pod-to-pod communication, service networking, and network connectivity issues.\n\n- Work with common CNI technologies such as Calico, Cilium, Flannel, or equivalent.\n\n- Support Kubernetes cluster infrastructure, including networking, storage integration, persistent volumes, and backup/restore operations.\n\n- Perform storage performance tuning, capacity planning, and storage system audits.\n\n- Execute storage provisioning, LUN masking, zoning, and replication activities.\n\n- Manage storage replication and data protection using NetApp Snapshot, SnapMirror, and Pure Storage FlashArray features.\n\n- Support disaster recovery planning and execution, including regular DR tests and backup recovery exercises.\n\n- Collaborate with Kubernetes, VMware, database, Windows, Linux, network, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth infrastructure operations.\n\n- Follow ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.\n\n- Participate in infrastructure maintenance, patching, upgrades, and technology refresh activities.\n\n- Provide on-call support and participate in scheduled infrastructure maintenance activities.\n\n- Maintain operational documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and infrastructure standards.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience : \n\n- 7 - 12 years of overall experience in enterprise infrastructure, backup, storage, and/or systems administration.\n\n- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Commvault backup administration.\n\n- Strong understanding of enterprise backup architecture, backup policies, retention, recovery, and compliance.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Pure Storage and/or NetApp storage platforms.\n\n- Strong understanding of SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, and CIFS/SMB.\n\n- Experience with NetApp Snapshot, SnapMirror, or Pure Storage FlashArray.\n\n- Strong experience supporting VMware/virtualized environments.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting.\n\n- Good understanding of Kubernetes networking and CNI (Container Network Interface).\n\n- Experience with at least one Kubernetes CNI solution such as Calico, Cilium, Flannel, Weave Net, or equivalent.\n\n- Understanding of Kubernetes networking concepts including Pod networking, Services, Network Policies, ingress/egress traffic, DNS, and cluster networking.\n\n- Experience troubleshooting Kubernetes networking and connectivity issues.\n\n- Knowledge of persistent storage / CSI integration with Kubernetes is preferred.\n\n- Experience with backup and recovery of containerized/Kubernetes workloads is an advantage.\n\n- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\n\n- Good communication and collaboration skills.\n\n- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a distributed/remote team environment.\n\nGood to Have : \n\n- Experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and execution.\n\n- Knowledge of ITIL-based Incident, Change, and Problem Management.\n\n- Experience with storage capacity planning and performance optimization.\n\n- Experience with Kubernetes cluster upgrades, patching, and maintenance.\n\n- Exposure to enterprise infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.\n\n- Experience working with tape libraries and enterprise backup media management.\n\n- Understanding of backup and storage compliance, governance, and data retention practices.\n\n- Exposure to Linux administration and shell scripting.\n\n- Knowledge of CSI, persistent volumes, StorageClasses, and Kubernetes storage architecture.\n\n- Exposure to cloud or hybrid-cloud infrastructure is a plus.\n\nWork Details : \n\nLocation : Remote.\n\nExperience : 7 -
