This role blends deep analytical work with hands-on execution and cross-functional leadership. You will work closely with Manufacturing, NPI, Global Supply Management, Logistics, and Warehousing to maintain clear-to-build readiness in a fast-moving, hardware-centric environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaterials & Demand Planning\nOwn module-level demand planning, translating build plans into executable material requirements.\nMaintain and govern the master demand file, ensuring accuracy between planned and actual builds.\nAnalyze manufacturing yield rates and consumption trends to refine demand signals.\nDevelop and manage part allocation plans for constrained supply scenarios.\nOwn part change cutovers to ensure clean transitions without production impact.\nInventory Management & Optimization\nMonitor inventory levels, turns, and consumption rates to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.\nDrive inventory optimization strategies aligned with production ramps and engineering changes.\nOwn the Part Request Approval process, ensuring alignment with demand and inventory strategy.\nClear-to-Build (CTB) Ownership\nOwn daily Clear-to-Build (CTB) reporting\nPartner closely with Manufacturing to ensure material readiness on the production floor.\nProactively identify and resolve material constraints impacting build schedules.\nOversee materials management activities including: PO releases, ETA tracking, inventory accuracy and reconciliation.\nSupport tactical purchasing to mitigate shortages and expedite critical components.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Warehousing, Logistics, and Global Supply Management to resolve shipping, receiving, and inventory discrepancies.\nSupport executive-level presentations with clear, data-driven insights.\nProcess Improvement\nIdentify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the planning cycle.\nPropose and implement process improvements to improve planning accuracy, service levels, and scalability.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.\nMaster’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred.\nExperience\n5-7 years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.\nExperience in high-volume manufacturing or complex hardware environments.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred).\nAdvanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, demand modeling).\nCore Competencies\nStrong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.\nAbility to identify trends in part consumption and manufacturing performance.\nProven adaptability in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for Manufacturing and NPI teams.\nThe US base salary range for this full-time position is between $120,000 - $200,000 annually.\nThe pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
