Delivering over 200,000 messages per second between 190 nodes on each robot, zero-copy and lock-free. We work hard to provide abstractions that make using it a pleasant experience for all teams at the company.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and build the core framework and infrastructure the robot runs on.\n\nWork directly with client teams to understand how they use it and where it gets in their way.\n\nTurn that understanding into better abstractions and tooling.\n\nRequirements:\nAt least 7 years of experience building production software in C++\n\nMastery of Modern C++ (>20).\n\nFamiliarity with Python.\n\nExperience working on embedded systems and timing sensitive environments.\n\nIntimate understanding of the interface between the Linux kernel and userspace applications.\n\nPassion for developing well tested frameworks and infrastructure that just works day in and day out for years to come.\n\nMotivated by working directly with other teams to understand their needs.\n\nBonus Qualifications:\nExperience building frameworks and infrastructure with large user bases.\n\nThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 to $250,000 per year.\nThe pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
