Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA.\nWe are looking for a Mobile Service Technician to compliment our superstar team.The role requires technical expertise and strong mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair our humanoid robot fleet. As a mobile technician, you will serve as a frontline technical representative-traveling to customer facilities, deployment zones, and trial sites.\nResponsibilities:\nResponsible for the maintenance of humanoid robots and necessary mobile infrastructure at commercial or residential locations.\n\nPerform routine maintenance and repairs on the humanoid robot fleet.\n\nProficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and software-based issues.\n\nWork closely with engineering, build, validation and fabrication teams to resolve issues quickly.\n\nVerify use-case stability on-site and provide direct, actionable feedback to the Development teams to drive product improvements.\n\nMaintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.\n\nDevelop tools and document diagnostic procedures for process improvement.\n\nAbility to follow assembly documentation.\n\nAbility to work under short timelines when needed.\n\nExperience in customer-facing positions.\n\nValid Driver License and clean driving record.\n\nRequirements:\n3+ years experience working with complex systems.\n\nFamiliarity with computer based tools such as but not limited to CMD prompt, Google Suite, in house development GUI’s.\n\nFamiliarity with electrical hardware based diagnostic tools such as but notlimited to Scope, Digital MultiMeter, Current Probes.\n\nFamiliarity with torque tools and mechanical assembly.\n\nAbility to read PCB and Harness schematics.\n\nFull system architecture diagnostic experience and organized diagnosticprocesses.\n\nAbility to remove and replace mechanical components up to 50lbs.\n\nGreat attitude and excited to face challenges.\n\nValid drivers license and clean driving record.\n\nBonus Qualifications:\nDAQ system implementation experience.\n\nSmall brushless motor experience.\n\nHarmonic drive, clutches, torque/force sensor knowledge.\n\nRobotics experience.\n\nExperience using Jira, Confluence, Slack.\n\nIPC 610, 620 or J-Std-001.\n\nThe US base pay range for this full-time position is $30.00 to $55.00 per hour.\nThe pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role.
