This role sits at the intersection of technology, consulting, delivery, and presales. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and partners to understand business needs, design technical solutions, and help bring Shopify projects to life.\nAs a Shopify Solutions Engineer, you will:\nWork with clients to understand their business, technical requirements, and ecommerce challenges.\n\nDesign and document technical solutions on Shopify and Shopify Plus.\n\nSupport the delivery of custom Shopify apps, integrations, and platform configurations.\n\nCollaborate with frontend developers, backend developers, project managers, designers, and business stakeholders.\n\nParticipate in technical discovery sessions, workshops, and client meetings.\n\nHelp define scopes, technical approaches, estimates, and implementation plans.\n\nSupport presales processes by translating client needs into clear technical solutions.\n\nReview existing Shopify setups and identify opportunities for improvement.\n\nTroubleshoot technical issues and support the team during implementation.\n\nStay up to date with Shopify’s ecosystem, platform capabilities, APIs, apps, and best practices.\n\nDevelop solutions and/or POCs of the proposed solution.\n\nThis is a Full-time position with working hours aligned with the project/s at hand, we work with clients in the US and Europe, and should have capacity to adjust working hours accordingly.\nRequirements\nWe’re looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, good communication skills, and a genuine interest in ecommerce.\nYou should have:\nExperience building, maintaining, or supporting Shopify or Shopify Plus solutions.\n\nStrong understanding of software development principles.\n\nExperience with system integrations, APIs, webhooks, and third-party services.\n\nAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\n\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\n\nConfidence working directly with clients and explaining technical topics clearly.\n\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.\n\nInterest in presales, consulting, and solution design.\n\nSpanish and English working proficiency.\n\nEligibility to work for a Spanish company.\n\nNice to have:\nExperience with ecommerce platforms, SaaS products, or digital agencies.\n\nKnowledge of Shopify themes, Liquid, Hydrogen, Shopify Functions, Checkout Extensibility, or Shopify APIs.\n\nExperience integrating Shopify with ERP, CRM, OMS, PIM, payment, logistics, or marketing platforms.\n\nPrevious experience in a Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, Technical Project Manager, Solutions Architect or Developer
