Je houdt je onder andere bezig met:\nJe ondersteunt klanten en salespartners bij technische vragen en toepassingen op het gebied van explosion protection.\n\nJe analyseert de situatie en behoeften van de klant en vertaalt deze naar een passende Fike-oplossing.\n\nJe maakt berekeningen, selecteert de juiste producten en stelt materiaallijsten (BOM’s) op.\n\nJe helpt mee met het maken van offertes, technische voorstellen en ontwerpdocumentatie.\n\nJe controleert technische tekeningen en documentatie en zorgt dat deze aansluiten bij de toepassing van de klant.\n\nJe ondersteunt bij installatie-, toepassings- en troubleshooting vraagstukken.\n\nJe onderzoekt complexere technische problemen en werkt samen met collega's en andere afdelingen om tot een oplossing te komen.\n\nJe verzamelt en analyseert informatie wanneer een toepassing afwijkt van de standaard.\n\nJe legt klanten op een duidelijke manier uit waarom een bepaalde oplossing geschikt is voor hun situatie.\n\nJe werkt met verschillende interne systemen, zoals CRM-, CPQ-, ERP- en calculatietools.\n\nJe blijft op de hoogte van Fike-producten, toepassingen, normen en procedures.\n\nJe bent onderdeel van een technische support- en bereikbaarheid rotatie.\n\nJe werkt hierbij onder begeleiding van ervaren collega's, maar krijgt steeds meer verantwoordelijkheid naarmate je kennis en ervaring groeien.\nWie zoeken we?\nJe bent technisch geïnteresseerd, analytisch ingesteld en vindt het leuk om problemen op te lossen. Then the position of Application Engineer Explosion Protection (EP) at Fike could be the right opportunity for you.\nWhat will you do?\nNo two days are exactly the same. Your responsibilities will include:\nSupporting customers and sales partners with technical questions and applications related to explosion protection.\n\nAnalyzing the customer's situation and needs and translating these into a suitable Fike solution.\n\nPerforming calculations, selecting the appropriate products, and preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs).\n\nAssisting with the preparation of quotations, technical proposals, and design documentation.\n\nReviewing technical drawings and documentation and ensuring they are aligned with the customer's application.\n\nProviding support with installation, application, and troubleshooting issues.\n\nInvestigating more complex technical problems and working together with colleagues and other departments to find a solution.\n\nGathering and analyzing information when an application deviates from the standard.\n\nClearly explaining to customers why a particular solution is suitable for their specific situation.\n\nWorking with various internal systems, such as CRM, CPQ, ERP, and calculation tools.\n\nKeeping up to date with Fike products, applications, standards, and procedures.\n\nParticipating in a technical support and on-call rotation.\n\nYou will work under the guidance of experienced colleagues, while gradually taking on more responsibility as your knowledge and experience grow.\nWho are we looking for?\nYou have a technical mindset, are analytical, and enjoy solving problems. You don't need to know everything from day one: a solid technical foundation and the motivation to continue developing your knowledge are just as important.\nWe are looking for someone who:\nHas completed a bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical field;\n\nCan read and understand technical drawings and relevant industry standards;\n\nHas an interest in engineering, technical applications, and customer-related technical challenges;\n\nWorks analytically and accurately;\n\nCan quickly gather, assess, and translate information into a practical solution;\n\nCan work independently but also enjoys collaborating with colleagues, sales teams, and customers;\n\nCommunicates clearly, both verbally and in writing;\n\nIs customer-oriented and enjoys thinking along with the customer to find the right solution;\n\nIs comfortable dealing with different and sometimes unexpected technical situations;\n\nIs proficient in Microsoft Office;\n\nHas a good command of both
