Job Summary: Conducts analytical studies on engineering proposals to develop design for products and to support existing products. Utilizes the finite element method or other methods for analysis, makes calculations to obtain necessary engineering parameters and conducts experiments and research to understand physical phenomena of products. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Analyzes research data and proposed product specifications to determine feasibility of product proposal. 2. Confers with Sales, Production and Quality to clarify or resolve problems. 3. Creates test procedures for solving problems. 4. Performs experiments to determine necessary engineering parameters. 5.
