This position will play a key role in building a pipeline of acquisition targets, conducting financial and operational analysis, developing industry relationships, and supporting transaction due diligence from initial screening through close.\nThis role will report to the Head of Corporate Development and will be based in Atlanta, GA, with approximately 60% travel.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nPartner with Corporate Development and business leaders to identify and develop acquisition opportunities.\nSupport direct sourcing through market research, industry mapping, outreach, conferences, and relationships across the organization.\nEvaluate inbound opportunities from brokers, investment banks, business leaders, and other sources.\nDevelop market and competitive intelligence to assess potential targets and strategic growth opportunities.\nAttend industry conferences, trade shows, and association events to build relationships and identify acquisition prospects.\nCultivate and maintain long-term relationships with business owners, brokers, investment bankers, and other industry intermediaries.\nProfessionally represent Filterbuy Ventures in the market and help establish the organization as a buyer of choice.\nDevelop working knowledge of the HVAC and air filtration industry, including key players, competitive dynamics, and deal activity.\nLead and perform deal-related financial and operational analysis, including financial modeling and due diligence review.\nDevelop in-depth investment memorandums and present acquisition rationale to senior management.\nGenerate scorecards evaluating acquisition opportunities and clearly summarize findings for the executive team.\nSupport additional value-added activities and operational excellence initiatives across the Corporate Development function.\nMaintain honest and ethical conduct in all internal and external interactions.\nRequired skills and qualifications:\n3-4+ years of experience in corporate development, deal origination, sourcing, or M&A process execution within a company, investment bank, private equity firm, or transaction advisory practice.\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another business-related field.\nStrong background in finance and accounting, valuation, and business strategy through professional experience and/or academic coursework.\nStrong desire and ability to learn and execute the deal process from initial screening through close.\nStrong relationship-building skills with the ability to confidently interact with business owners, brokers, investment bankers, and other industry intermediaries.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.\nStrong written, verbal, and presentation skills.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with an appropriate sense of urgency.\nAbility to work autonomously in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment.\nStrong work ethic and desire to grow within a high-performing team.\nWillingness and ability to travel approximately 60% of the time.\nNice-to-Haves:\nExperience working with small and mid-market businesses.\nExperience within industrial services, skilled trades, field services, or other operationally focused industries.\nExperience within the HVAC, air filtration, manufacturing, or related industries.\nExperience developing acquisition pipelines and building relationships with business owners and industry intermediaries.\nThis job description is not all-encompassing; however, it is intended to be a general description of the responsibilities of this position.\nCompany Overview\nWe are a leading ecommerce company with a mission to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences.
