The inventory associate will participate in all activities related to receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, merchandise, supplies, and products. The goal is to maintain storage facilities, ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, partake in counts of all products, and putting away finished goods in designated areas.\nOur Inventory associate will work closely with their supervisor to prevent losses. A successful inventory associate should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a firm grasp of basic computer programs, and an ability to work both independently and in a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting, be good at basic math, have great attention to detail, and have excellent physical stamina.\nThis role will report to the Inventory Supervisor in Ogden, UT. Tuesday through Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nMaintains consistent stock of inventory.\nMaintains accurate daily records of goods received.\nMaintains inventory systems; facilitates updates to related databases and/or software under the direction of the inventory supervisor.\nAbility to properly prioritize workload.\nCommunicate with other departments.\nReceiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, merchandise, supplies, and products.\nConducts frequent spot checks and daily audits of physical inventory.\nUse pallet jack to put away finished goods in the appropriate location and consolidate.\nAssists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.\nAssist in training less experienced inventory workers.\nOperates forklift when necessary.\nPerforms other related duties as requested.\nRequirements\nRequired skills and qualifications:\n1 year in a warehouse/ manufacturing environment required.\nForklift experience preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license.\nExcellent computer skills and working knowledge of word processor, database, and spreadsheet software.\nAbility to perform basic math calculations.\nThe ability to manage multiple projects at one time in an efficient and timely manner is essential in this position.\nBasic understanding of inventory control procedures preferred.\nGood understanding of quality control principles.\nWilling to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.\nAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear).\nExcellent attention to detail.\nExcellent problem-solving skills to develop ways to improve overall efficiency and overcome inventory problems.\nExcellent teamwork and communication skills.\nWillingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.\nPhysical Requirements:\nConstant walking, standing, and working on feet (10hr shift). On average 15,000 to 25,000 steps a day.\nConsistently perform repetitive actions that entail frequent grasping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and pivoting.\nMust be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.\nVisual acuity to read instructions and inspect products produced.\nConsistently stretch/ reach with both hands and arms.\nThis position works in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
