This role is responsible for ensuring inventory integrity, optimizing inventory movement, minimizing discrepancies, and leading a team responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records across the facility.\nThe ideal candidate has experience in a high-volume manufacturing or distribution environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a proven ability to lead inventory teams while driving continuous process improvements.\nThis role will report to the Plant Manager at our New Kensington location.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nSupervise daily inventory control activities and inventory personnel.\nLead and coordinate cycle count programs, physical inventories, and inventory audits.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes.\nMonitor inventory transactions to ensure system accuracy.\nMaintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP system.\nDevelop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.\nPartner with Receiving, Shipping, Production, and Purchasing to resolve inventory issues.\nEnsure proper inventory rotation (FIFO) and storage practices.\nMonitor damaged, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.\nAnalyze inventory trends and prepare inventory reports for leadership.\nTrain, coach, and develop inventory team members.\nEstablish productivity and accuracy expectations for the inventory team.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.\nEnsure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.\nParticipate in warehouse projects and process improvement initiatives.\nAssist with system implementations and inventory process enhancements as needed.\nRequired skills and qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.\n3+ years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.\n1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience.\nStrong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.\nExperience performing cycle counts and physical inventories.\nExperience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).\nInventory Control\nCycle Counting\nPhysical Inventory\nInventory Audits\nRoot Cause Analysis\nWarehouse Operations\nInventory Reconciliation\nWMS\nERP Systems\nMicrosoft Excel\nData Analysis\nLeadership\nTeam Development\nProcess Improvement\nProblem Solving\nCommunication\nTime Management\nOrganization\nSafety Compliance\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nExcellent communication and leadership skills.\nNice-to-Haves:\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.\nExperience with ERP systems.\nLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.\nAPICS/CPIM certification.\nExperience in high-volume distribution or manufacturing.\nContinuous improvement experience.\nThis job description is not all-encompassing; however, it is intended to be a general description of the responsibilities of this position.\nCompany Overview\nWe are a leading ecommerce company with a mission to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences.
