We want you to join our team!\nResponsibilities\nAbout the Role:\nPosition Summary:\nPrimary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:\nOperate one or more pieces of machinery across multiple departments. \nPerform operations efficiently and safely with minimal supervision. \nMonitor production to assure quality standards are met. \nAble to train new operators. \nBe able to shift between departments based on demand fluctuations in critical positions.\nAssist the Line Lead and Group Lead with ensuring the department follows the production schedule\nProvide coverage in the absence of Line Leads and Group Leads for supervisory responsibilities when necessary\nStart and stop machine at specified intervals. Operate machine(s) per specifications at standard efficiency.\nPerform set-up duties and make minor equipment adjustments as agreed upon with Maintenance.\nImmediately stops malfunctioning equipment and notifies supervisor or mechanic that repairs or adjustments are necessary.\nReport to supervisor any situation where the operation deviates from acceptable quality, production or safety standards.\nMonitor raw material usage and report excessive loss to the supervisor.\nDocument daily production, as required.\nMaintain a clean and orderly work area and keep equipment cleaned at all times.\nFollow all company rules and regulations, per the Employee Handbook or department policy.\nPerform other duties and work in other departments as required. \nMust be able to lift 40 pounds overhead\nMust be able to use hand tools, power tools and high pressure washer\nMust be able to learn to operate machinery via PLC interface \nAn individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
