Over 80 percent of the Company’s revenue comes from replacement / consumable products, many of which are specified into customer’s products or processes.\nWith revenues of $1.4 billion, Filtration Group is consistently recognized as the fastest growing and one of the largest filtration businesses in the world and has a global footprint of 141 facilities in 28 countries.\nResponsibilities\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPrimary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:\nLoad and unload trucks and/or other containers using a variety of material handling equipment.\nMove material within a warehouse or storage facility to and from the loading platform using a forklift truck or other handling equipment.\nDirect the work of a material handling crew engaged in loading and unloading, arranging, and routing materials within the facility.\nEnsure that the proper items in the proper quantities are being shipped to the correct locations at the most economical price meeting our customer’s expectations.\nSort and distribute material to various areas following work order instructions.\nComplete daily safety and 5S/housekeeping walks; conduct daily forklift audits.\nCompete weekly quality audits; minimum 1/week; time studies-minimum 1/week.\nMonitor, insure and provide input on all SOP’s.\nMonitor the pick tickets and the tracker.\nMonitor & prioritize workloads as needed.\nCommunicate with shipping coordinators regarding the daily plan, pick ticket issues, OTD, trucks, and any other day to day activities; follow up with warehouse team throughout the day.\nConstant follow up on any OTD issues for closure, must be 95% or higher per day/month.\nAssist on any pick ticket issues.\nFollow up with product needed from production; take product that needs a label/box to the production lead.\nAssist in training new hires and follow up with their daily/weekly expectations.\nMaintain a safe and orderly work area.\nPerform duties safely wearing assigned personal protective equipment. Immediately report observed safety hazards to the supervisor.\nBe punctual and at work daily.\nFlexible to work 1st or 2nd shift as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nProvide leadership during the absence of the Warehouse Manager through directing employees, fulfilling commitments, and acting as the primary contact for shipping, receiving and other warehouse functions.\nAn individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.\nThe above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the principle and essential functions of the position and shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nKnowledge of company products and procedures.\nCustomer focused with a strong attention to detail.\nAble to work overtime on short notice.\nAble to reach, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs.), twist, squat, push and pull.\nGood manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.\nAbility to drive a sit-down forklift.\nAbility to read and write English sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position and satisfactorily meet business demands.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent level of education preferred.\nShipping/receiving experience preferred.\nComputer literate with an understanding of QAD helpful.\nPhysical/Mental Demands:\nWhile performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
