This role requires flexibility to move between machines based on production needs while also assisting with tasks related to receiving and warehouse operations. The individual will ensure smooth machine operations and accurate material handling for uninterrupted production flow.\nResponsibilities\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nMachine Operation:\nOperate and monitor multiple machines across various workstations, ensuring each machine runs smoothly and efficiently.\nTroubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.\nEnsure that machine setups are correct and adjust them according to specifications and requirements.\nPerform regular checks on equipment for maintenance needs and report any mechanical issues.\nEnsure adherence to safety and quality standards while operating machinery.\nMonitor the quality of products during production runs and identify any defects or deviations from standards.\nMaintain documentation related to production outputs, machine settings, and materials used.\nAssist in maintaining proper records of materials received and dispatched from the warehouse.\n\nWarehouse and Receiving Duties:\nReceive incoming shipments, check products against purchase orders, and verify quantities.\nInspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate team members.\nUnload and store products or materials in their designated locations within the warehouse.\nMaintain accurate inventory records, including updating stock levels and notifying supervisors of low stock.\nAssist in the preparation and staging of products for shipment or machine use in production.\nCoordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials to production areas.\nOperates forklift as necessary to move materials and products within the warehouse.\n\nCross-Functional Support:\nFloat between multiple machines based on production demands, ensuring minimal downtime.\nCollaborate with supervisors and machine operators to ensure efficient workflow and address any production delays.\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment in both the machine area and warehouse space.\n\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nAbility to follow directions and work well in a team environment.\nAbility to interpret and translate engineering designs, and technical documentation into actionable tasks.\nStrong understanding of production equipment, including framing machines, laser cutters, and filter grid manufacturing machinery, or the ability to quickly learn.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.\nKnowledge of or the ability to learn relevant safety regulations.\nProficient with software for documentation and record-keeping.\nBasic understanding of inventory control procedures and manufacturing inventory requirements.\nProficient in keyboarding and using inventory management software or databases.\nExtremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nAssociate’s degree or completion of a related apprenticeship program preferred.\nAt least one year of related experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally with experience in machine operation and metal fabrication.\nCompletion of on-the-job training may be substituted for educational requirements.\nForklift operator certification is preferred.\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that may require frequent bending, stooping, and lifting.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.\nVisual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced for quality and accuracy.\nAbility to operate machines and equipment with manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.\nMust be able to operate a forklift as needed to handle materials.\nBase Salary: $22-$25 Hourly,
