This role partners closely with Purchasing, Customer Service, Production, and management to create realistic plans, communicate changes, and strengthen our planning and scheduling processes.\nResponsibilities\nWhat You’ll Do\nReview and plan production orders in SAP, including material availability, process requirements, and lead times.\nSchedule and release production orders to the shop floor in a way that balances capacity and optimizes workflow.\nPartner with buyers to understand material availability and supplier lead times so production plans remain accurate and achievable.\nCommunicate with Customer Service regarding product availability, schedule changes, disruptions, and potential delays.\nWork closely with the Production team to balance workloads across operations and effectively use available capacity.\nMonitor planning priorities and adjust schedules as business needs, materials, or capacity change.\nIdentify opportunities to improve planning systems, processes, data accuracy, and overall workflow.\nSupport continuous-improvement initiatives that make planning and scheduling processes more reliable and user-friendly.\nCreate and maintain training documentation for planning customer orders and troubleshooting ERP-related issues.\nSupport key performance priorities, including safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory, and productivity.\nQualifications\nWhat You’ll Bring\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.\nAt least three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.\nProduction planning or scheduling experience preferred.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems and fundamental manufacturing operations; SAP experience is a plus.\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement practices preferred.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and use business systems effectively.\nStrong communication, organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage competing priorities, make sound decisions, and follow through on commitments.\nHow You’ll Succeed\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, integrity, respect, teamwork, organization, ownership, and a practical problem-solving mindset.
