This is an exciting opportunity to join Filtronic at an important stage of our growth and play a key role in shaping how our business systems support the organisation.\nWe are looking for an experienced Business Systems Transformation Manager to take ownership of the development, optimisation and integration of Filtronic’s core business systems.\nReporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our systems, data and processes provide the operational capability, visibility and control required to support a growing and increasingly complex manufacturing business.\nWorking across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Programmes, Finance and Quality, you will develop a strong understanding of our end-to-end business processes and translate business requirements into effective, scalable system solutions.\nThis is a hands-on role. You will shape the business systems roadmap while remaining directly involved throughout the delivery lifecycle, from requirements and solution design through configuration, testing, implementation and adoption.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn and develop Filtronic’s business systems roadmap, aligned with business growth and operational priorities.\nLead the implementation, optimisation and continuous improvement of core business systems.\nWork closely with functional teams to understand processes, requirements, constraints and opportunities for improvement.\nTranslate business requirements into effective system and process solutions.\nTake a hands-on approach to system configuration, workflows, reporting, testing and issue resolution.\nLead system changes from initial requirements through design, UAT, implementation and successful adoption.\nIdentify and remove unnecessary manual processes, duplication and system workarounds.\nImprove integration and information flow across the business systems landscape.\nEstablish robust data governance, master-data ownership and system controls.\nDevelop reporting, dashboards and management information to improve operational and management visibility.\nEstablish effective system administration, access, permissions and change controls.\nManage external system providers and implementation partners while retaining strong internal ownership and knowledge.\nDevelop internal capability through effective training, documentation and super-user networks.\nSupport the evaluation, selection and implementation of future business systems and technologies.\nEnsure Filtronic’s systems landscape remains scalable and appropriate for the future needs of the business.\nRequirements\nAbout You\nYou will be an experienced business systems professional with a strong combination of technical expertise, business process understanding and implementation experience.\nYou will have:\nSignificant experience in a Business Systems, ERP, Applications or Systems Transformation role.\nA strong track record of implementing and improving ERP and wider enterprise systems.\nStrong practical ERP expertise, including configuration, workflows, reporting, testing, troubleshooting and implementation.\nExperience working within a manufacturing, engineering or technology environment.\nA strong understanding of operational processes including planning, supply chain, procurement, inventory, manufacturing and finance.\nExperience integrating ERP with other business and operational systems.\nStrong business analysis, process improvement and problem-solving skills.\nExperience leading complex systems implementations and multiple concurrent workstreams.\nStrong understanding of data, reporting, master data and governance.\nExperience managing external consultants and system partners while retaining internal ownership and accountability.\nThe ability to operate effectively from detailed system and process discussions through to engagement with the Leadership Team.\nA track record of successfully embedding systems and process change within an organisation.\nApplicants must be able to meet the requirements of the UK Government’s Security Clearance Vetting Procedure.\nNetSuite experience would be advantageous, although experience of other leading ERP platforms within a manufacturing environment will also be highly relevant.\nWe are looking for someone who combines technical depth with strong commercial and operational understanding.\nYou will be comfortable moving between strategic priorities and detailed delivery, personally investigating problems, understanding system configuration and data, working with users to develop solutions and seeing changes through to successful implementation.\nYou will be proactive, delivery-focused and comfortable challenging existing processes where there is a better way of working.
