Senior Bid Manager

The Senior Bid Manager will own the end-to-end bid lifecycle for enterprise BFSI opportunities across Egypt and the wider MENA region. This role also owns technical and commercial proposal writing, including Statements of Work, for direct orders and existing customer accounts. Working closely with the Presales Engineer, sales and delivery teams, the Senior Bid Manager will make sure every bid and proposal is compliant, competitive and submitted on time.

The difference you will make:

• Manage the end-to-end RFP/RFI/RFQ lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through final submission.
• Lead bid/no-bid decision analysis and risk assessment for new opportunities.
• Build and maintain the bid calendar, making sure all deadlines and milestones are met.
• Facilitate bid strategy and win-theme workshops with key stakeholders.
• Ensure full compliance with client requirements, formatting guidelines and submission protocols.
• Coordinate input from sales, the Presales Engineer, legal, finance and delivery throughout the bid lifecycle.
• Manage post-submission activities, including client clarifications, negotiations and debrief sessions.
• Write technical and commercial proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) for direct orders and existing customer accounts.
• Maintain and continuously improve proposal and SOW templates and a shared content library.

Requirements

What you will bring to the role

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

• A bid management certification (e.g., APMP, Shipley) is a plus.

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in bid management, ideally within technology, IT services or the BFSI sector.

• Prior exposure to BFSI clients in Egypt and/or the GCC is strongly preferred. Previous experience in AI engagements is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of RFP/RFI/RFQ processes and bid governance frameworks.

• Strong business writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive technical and commercial proposals and SOWs.
• Proven experience managing multiple complex bids at the same time under tight deadlines.
• Cross-functional project management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint).
