This role also owns technical and commercial proposal writing, including Statements of Work, for direct orders and existing customer accounts. Working closely with the Presales Engineer, sales and delivery teams, the Senior Bid Manager will make sure every bid and proposal is compliant, competitive and submitted on time.\nThe difference you will make:\nManage the end-to-end RFP/RFI/RFQ lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through final submission.\nLead bid/no-bid decision analysis and risk assessment for new opportunities. \nBuild and maintain the bid calendar, making sure all deadlines and milestones are met.\nFacilitate bid strategy and win-theme workshops with key stakeholders. \nEnsure full compliance with client requirements, formatting guidelines and submission protocols. \nCoordinate input from sales, the Presales Engineer, legal, finance and delivery throughout the bid lifecycle. \nManage post-submission activities, including client clarifications, negotiations and debrief sessions. \nWrite technical and commercial proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) for direct orders and existing customer accounts. \nMaintain and continuously improve proposal and SOW templates and a shared content library.\nRequirements\nWhat you will bring to the role\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.\nA bid management certification (e.g., APMP, Shipley) is a plus. \nExperience:\n8+ years of experience in bid management, ideally within technology, IT services or the BFSI sector.\nPrior exposure to BFSI clients in Egypt and/or the GCC is strongly preferred. Previous experience in AI engagements is a plus. \nTechnical Skills:\nStrong knowledge of RFP/RFI/RFQ processes and bid governance frameworks.\nStrong business writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive technical and commercial proposals and SOWs.\nProven experience managing multiple complex bids at the same time under tight deadlines. \nCross-functional project management skills. \nProficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint). \nSoft Skills:\nStrong ownership and accountability for assigned work. \nClear and professional verbal and written communication. \nEffective time management and task prioritization.\nAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to work independently, collaborate effectively and mentor junior team members. \nAbility to actively listen to customers and accurately understand their needs, expectations, and challenges.\nAdaptability and learning agility in a fast-paced environment. \nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. \nReceptiveness to feedback and continuous improvement mindset. \nFinaira is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination and harassment.
