We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technology programs within our Research & Engineering group. This role requires deep technical understanding, significant experience implementing modern project management methodologies, and the ability to drive execution across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment. Part of the role involves implementing AI tools and leading changes in engineering and project management workflows as AI agents reshape how teams plan, collaborate, and deliver.

You will translate business and engineering priorities into actionable plans, align stakeholders across the organization, and own delivery from planning through completion. We are looking for someone who combines a broad organizational perspective with attention to detail, a can do attitude, sound judgment, and a strong sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technology programs and projects end to end, coordinating multiple teams, workstreams, and interdependencies.
• Partner with engineering teams and business stakeholders to define requirements, scope, priorities, success criteria, and delivery plans.
• Apply and continuously improve modern project management methodologies, combining Agile, Lean, Kanban, and hybrid approaches with emerging practices for collaboration between people and AI agents, including rapid experimentation, short feedback loops, and clear ownership and review checkpoints.
• Establish effective planning and delivery practices, including roadmaps, backlog management, milestones, resource coordination, and dependency tracking.
• Develop meaningful delivery metrics and reporting that provide visibility into progress, risks, bottlenecks, and outcomes, and support timely decision-making.
• Build a deep understanding of the systems involved, engage in technical discussions, and assess how architectural constraints and technical decisions affect delivery.
• Drive collaboration across Software Engineering, Research, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Networking, DevOps, and senior management.
• Proactively identify risks, resolve cross-team conflicts, remove obstacles, and develop contingency plans.
• Manage changing priorities and competing demands while maintaining execution momentum and clear stakeholder communication.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce unnecessary overhead, and strengthen delivery predictability across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical program or project management, leading complex technology initiatives in medium-sized or large technology organizations.
• Practical experience using AI tools to support project management, including building project plans, tracking progress against plans, and identifying risks and dependencies.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI tools and agents into the software development lifecycle, including implementation, testing, and code review, with clear standards for human oversight and quality assurance.
• Demonstrated ability to drive adoption through training, coaching, and change management, with measurable improvements in delivery speed, software quality, or developer productivity.
• Significant practical experience implementing and improving modern project management methodologies, with demonstrated impact on delivery effectiveness, collaboration, or predictability.
• Deep understanding of complex technology systems, including architecture, integrations, infrastructure, and dependencies between components.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and experience in software development.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional programs across multiple organizational units and aligning a large number of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions under uncertainty.
• Advanced proficiency in Jira, including designing workflows, dashboards, and reporting to support planning and execution.
• Ability to connect strategic objectives with detailed execution plans and quickly dive into technical topics.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills, with the ability to drive accountability without direct authority.
• Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills.
