Join us and help shape stronger school communities around the world\nSUMMARY\nWe are engaging a highly analytical, business-minded Sr. Financial Analyst on an independent contractor basis to support our growing organization. This engagement is ideal for an experienced consultant who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and wants broad exposure across executive leadership, private equity stakeholders, and cross-functional business teams.\nThe Contractor will play a critical role in delivering financial insights, supporting executive dashboards, board and investor reporting, and driving data-backed decision making across the company. The Contractor should be comfortable operating in a high-growth SaaS technology environment with strong rigor around metrics, forecasting, and performance analysis. The ideal contractor will also embrace the use of AI tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, surface insights faster, and modernize financial operations.\nThe Contractor will partner closely with Finance leadership, Revenue teams, Operations, Sales, and private equity partners to provide visibility into business performance and strategic opportunities.\nLOCATION\n100% Remote - Anywhere within the US\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nFinancial Planning & Analysis\nSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.\nAnalyze revenue, bookings, ARR, churn, retention, margin, and other KPIs.\nIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial modeling and scenario planning.\nAssist with annual operating plans and board-level financial presentations\nLeverage AI-enabled forecasting and planning tools to improve speed and accuracy.\nPrepare and maintain budget vs. actuals reporting with variance analysis, including period-over-period and prior year comparisons to surface meaningful performance trends.\nBuild, audit, and maintain transparent financial models adhering to industry best practices (clear driver separation, error checks, dynamic linking, and version control).\nPrivate Equity & Executive Reporting\nPrepare recurring reporting packages for executive leadership, board meetings, and private equity partners.\nSupport requests from investors related to growth metrics, profitability, liquidity headcount, and operational performance.\nHelp maintain high standards of financial discipline, reporting accuracy, and accountability.\nDrive process improvements exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to error-free work\nReporting & Data Analytics\nUse AI tools to help surface trends and anomalies in business data.\nPartner with data and systems teams to improve reporting automation and data integrity.\nSupport reporting for SaaS metrics, sales performance, and operational KPIs.\nCreate executive-ready summaries and visuals for leadership consumption.\nSupport adoption of Workday Adaptive Planning.\nCross-Functional Business Partnership\nPartner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and HR leaders on performance reporting and decision support.\nEvaluate ROI of strategic investments, hiring plans, GTM programs, and operational initiatives.\nSupport pricing analysis, compensation modeling, and business case development.\nDrive ad hoc analysis for strategic projects and executive priorities.\nRecommend process improvements through automation, AI, and smarter workflows.\nQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.\n2-4+ years of experience in an FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or related analytical role.\nStrong financial modeling and advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.\nExperience building dashboards and reporting in BI tools.\nStrong understanding of SaaS business models and recurring revenue metrics.\nExperience leveraging AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, forecasting platforms, automation tools, etc.) in a business environment.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior leaders.\nHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.\nPreferred\nExperience working in a private equity-backed company.\nExperience supporting board reporting or investor requests.\nFamiliarity with ERP, CRM, and planning systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.)\nExperience in a high-growth software or technology company.\nExposure to SQL, Python, or advanced analytics tools.\nRESIDENCY REQUIREMENT\nFinalsite offers 100% fully remote employment opportunities, however, these opportunities are limited to permanent residents of the United States.
