This role partners closely with engineering leadership to improve CI/CD, environment consistency, scalability, and operational excellence across critical platform initiatives.\nLOCATION\n100% Remote - Anywhere within the US\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign, improve, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes\n\nEstablish reliable staging and development environments aligned with production standards\n\nBuild and manage observability practices, including monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and SLO frameworks\n\nPartner with engineering teams to support platform modernization and infrastructure reliability\n\nDrive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards and multi-cloud operational consistency across AWS and GCP\n\nProvide technical leadership on infrastructure architecture, reliability, and operational best practices\n\nSupport incident response, system reliability, and operational readiness initiatives\n\nUtilize AI-assisted development tools to support infrastructure analysis and improvement efforts\n\nQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS\nBasic Qualifications\nAt least 10 years of experience as a Staff SRE or senior-level infrastructure engineer supporting production systems at scale\n\nStrong expertise in AWS and GCP cloud platforms\n\nFamiliarity with queue-based or event-driven architectures and autoscaling technologies\n\nExperience designing and improving CI/CD infrastructure and deployment automation\n\nHands-on Kubernetes operations experience, including scalability and workload reliability\n\nExperience with observability tools, monitoring strategies, and incident management practices\n\nProficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or comparable technologies\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills across engineering teams\n\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar technologies\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting platform modernization or large-scale migration initiatives\n\nExperience supporting multi-tenant SaaS environments\n\nBackground leading or advancing modern SRE practices within infrastructure teams\n\nFamiliarity with Ruby/Rails or Python deployment environments\n\nExperience within EdTech, SaaS, or other highly available production environments\n\nRESIDENCY REQUIREMENT\nFinalsite offers 100% fully remote employment opportunities, however, these opportunities are limited to permanent residents of the United States.
