You’ll get to work on an amazing team, collaborating closely with Developers, Designers & Product Managers. With a mix of manual and automated testing techniques you’ll use industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies to ensure quality. With an eye and interest in integrating AI, you’ll help us improve and scale our sales financing platform!\nWhat you'll be doing:\nUpstream testing and analysis to prevent bugs from entering the product.\nLead the automation effort by creating and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.\nReport, track, and manage defects, ensuring they are properly documented, prioritized, and resolved.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure alignment on quality goals and requirement analysis.\nProvide guidance and mentorship to junior QA analysts, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of quality by being user advocate within the team.\nContinuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.\nWork independently with minimum help and have excellent analytical and problem solving skills.\nExecute the process end to end for integration, system, functional and UAT testing.\nProvide test reports to Product Managers & QA Managers to keep the team updated on progress.\nCultivate the culture of ownership, shift left methodologies and radical feedback in scrum ceremonies.\nWho you are:\nProactive, can multitask and handle complex projects in a timely manner.\nAdaptive to changing priorities and project requirements.\nUnderstands the importance of the ‘test pyramid’.\nIs able to effectively communicate flaws in a system, process or situation.\nUnderstanding the importance of being a domain knowledge expert and able to break down complex technical bugs.\nConduct knowledge sharing sessions to promote skill development and best practices.\nRequirements\n5+ years of full-time work experience in QA with a primary focus on manual testing within a product pod, requiring deep, in-depth knowledge of the product system.\nExperience with all phases of the testing lifecycle with a strong focus on requirement analysis, gap analysis, test case creation, execution and automation.\nProficiency of testing processes, agile, DevOps methodologies and latest trends and technologies.\nCollaborate with developer-in-test to design, implement and maintain automation test scripts.\nExperience with payment scheduling and payment processing systems is preferable\nStrong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks: CI servers, RSpec and Ruby (or any other OOP language).\nExperience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.\nProficient in cross browser and mobile testing.\nCertification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.\nBenefits\nWinner of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, twice.
