It's about building the operating system for modern entrepreneurship and giving founders world-class strategy, financial clarity, and execution horsepower from startup to M&A.\nAbout The Role\nAs a Sr. Accounting Manager, you will oversee a pod of Accounting Managers, bookkeepers and a book of clients. You will be the main support and direction for your team so it is imperative that you are an outstanding communicator and have strong business acumen paired with Accounting Expertise. You will be responsible for the timely delivery of weekly and monthly financial reporting to clients via your team and will serve as an escalation point and thought partner for your clients. You will be responsible for the accuracy of the data presented and are the last stop for quality control of deliverables. The most successful candidate will be a proven leader and will have a strong background in a multi-client environment, e-commerce, and be extremely tech savvy.\nResponsibilities\nThis role is solutions-oriented and requires proactive engagement to ensure client success.\nOversee month-end close and all key accounting-related activities for your pod Financial Package Review: Reviewing Management Reports with Key Metrics Accounting Package Review: Ensuring proper reconciliations for ALL balance sheet accounts and trend analysis for both the balance sheet and P&L\n\nInventory Management Review: including reconciling inventory (Physical, Sub to GL), Inventory write off and Obsolescence adjustments, and reviewing individual product costs and ensuring accuracy in inventory software and systems.\n\nReview Accounts Receivable processing and aging reports (no collections)\n\nReview Accounts Payable processing and aging reports and bill payments in Bill.com (or related software) for clients\n\nReview Payroll Processing including journal entries and accruals\n\nProvide ad hoc reports or details as requested\n\nOversee client communications and serve as an escalation point\n\nSupervise and train team on client and administrative duties\n\nHelp develop SOPs and training documents\n\nManage budget for your pod\n\nMaintain clean files and document storage\n\nParticipate in Training as directed\n\nContribute to the internal team as a thought partner\n\nQualifications\n5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting\n\n2+ years of experience in a multi-client or consulting role\n\n2+ years of experience leading a team\n\nMinimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required\n\nAdvanced level expertise in QBO and Excel\n\nNetSuite and Xero experience a huge advantage\n\nExperience with e-commerce clients is required\n\nExperience reconciling Shopify, PayPal, bill.com, etc. required\n\nSolid understanding of GAAP and a firm grasp of accounting best practices\n\nSolid understanding of financial statements and how to evaluate them\n\nExcellent analytical and communication skills\n\nAbility to effectively prioritize and manage time in a remote work environment Proactive and team-centric
