Upon completion, this role is expected to transition to the standalone Universal Banking business, creating opportunities to support its future growth and success.\nIntroduction\nThe Universal Banking Finastra Cloud is supported by a global cloud infrastructure leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies, system integrators and solution partners delivering Finastra Universal Banking solutions intended for the highest level of security, performance and operating excellence.\nApplication Techincal Operations group will be resposible for monitoring and administrating end-to-end Cloud Core Banking solution for multiple customers around the world, esuring Infrastructur & Application monitoring, implementing planned activities to upgrade the applications working collaboratively with multiple technical groups from Product, DevOps, Global Services and Customer Support.\nResponsibilities\nAs a Senior System Engineer for Cloud, your key responsibilities will include:\n· Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Machines (Linux RHEL 8.x, 9.X) and PaaS services (storage accounts, key vaults, Azure Web App, ADF, Azure SQL databases) using DevOps pipelines.\n· AKS and Container Operations: Implement, configure, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain containerized applications and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments, ensuring security, reliability, scalability, and operational readiness.\n· Application Operations: Install and configure new releases, service packs, patches, and hot-fixes for Core Banking Solutions via Azure DevOps pipelines.\n· Incident and Event Management: Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues and incidents in live or implementation client environments, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.\n· Integration Management: Configure and maintain integrations of the Core Banking solution.\n· Automation: Develop and maintain scripts for operational task automation.\n· Access Management: Administer access management using Finastra Corporate Access Management tools.\n· Service Reviews: Participate in periodic service reviews, providing updates and recommendations for improvements.\n· Knowledge Management: Create, review, and update knowledge-based articles in the Application Operations repository.\n· Proactive Monitoring: Collect and evaluate application performance metrics, providing feedback to Product & QA teams.\n· Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation by adopting new cloud monitoring technologies and identifying operational tasks for monitoring and automating self-healing.\n· Collaboration: Work closely with Universal Banking business units to enhance monitoring practices and service improvements.\nSkills and Qualifications\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.\n Experience: 4-6 years of hands-on experience in public cloud infrastructure and services (preferably Microsoft Azure).\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, particularly with RHEL 8.x and 9.x.\n Must-have: Strong hands-on experience implementing and managing containerized workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Kubernetes, and container technologies, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, security, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.\nExperience with Azure cloud PaaS services (Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SQL, storage accounts, load balancers).\n\nKnowledge of IT operations, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery architectures.\n\nBasic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.\n\nExpertise in monitoring platforms like Site24x7 and Grafana.\n\nExperience in database technologies (Oracle, MS SQLServer, PostgreSQL).\nscripting languages (Perl, Python, Korn Shell, Windows batch).\nmiddleware (Apache Tomcat, IIS Server, Java technologies, JBoss EAP).\n\nExperience with DevOps technologies, preferably Azure DevOps.\n\nSoft Skills:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nCustomer-centric mindset with a focus on service delivery.\n\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.\nAgile and collaborative working style.\n\nWe are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide.
