Upon completion, this role is expected to transition to the standalone Universal Banking business, creating opportunities to support its future growth and success.\nReporting to the Regional Head of Services Delivery, the Senior Technical Consultant will implement new features, be involved in upgrades, deliver customizations described in functional specifications using the Finastra Essence toolkit API and you will be involved in designing solutions for the customer needs, working closely with regional teams.\nResponsibilities & Deliverables:\nYour deliverables as a Senior Technical Consultant will include, but are not limited to, the following:\nImplement new features as specified\nParticipate in upgrades\nAnalyze technical aspects of Finastra Essence implementation including the architecture side\nWrite Technical Specification Documents for offshore service\nSolution integration including offshore developments\nDevelop toolkit extensions based on Finastra Essence toolkit API\nRespect high level coding and design standards, and quality best practices\nInvestigate technical and functional defects and propose adequate solutions\nEnsure that development tasks meet business requirements and goals and fulfil end-user requirements\nEffective communication and mentoring junior Technical Consultants.\nRequired Experience:\nRelevant industry experience within the financial services sector, preferably gained through a financial institution, banking organization, or a banking software/technology company.\n\nStrong clients focus and impeccable professional integrity\nA degree in computer science or equivalent work experience\nStrong C/C++/C# /Java skills\nGood Unix, Linux or Windows skills\nSQL on Oracle, Sybase or MS SQL\n Finastra Essence technical knowledge is a plus\nEffective interpersonal communication skills and transparency\nAbility to work in a team environment\nGood spoken and written English\nAs part of our hiring process, we may use artificial intelligence (AI) technology to help screen and shortlist applications.
