The role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise-scale payment solutions while contributing to modernization, resiliency, automation, and customer-facing initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong Java development skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within Agile teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nSoftware Development\nDesign, develop, and maintain high-quality software components within the P2Go platform.\nImplement new features and enhancements based on product and customer requirements.\nParticipate in technical design discussions and solution reviews.\nDevelop clean, maintainable, and scalable code following engineering best practices.\nDefect Resolution & Production Support\nInvestigate and resolve customer-reported issues and production incidents.\nPerform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.\nParticipate in troubleshooting complex technical and functional issues.\nSupport critical production releases and customer upgrades.\nAgile Delivery\nActively participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.\nContribute to estimation, dependency identification, and delivery planning.\nEnsure stories meet Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) criteria.\nQuality & Engineering Excellence\nDevelop and execute unit and integration tests.\nSupport automation initiatives and CI/CD adoption.\nConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.\nDrive continual improvements in stability, maintainability, and performance.\nCollaboration\nWork closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, Architects, and DevOps teams.\nCollaborate across multiple scrum teams to resolve dependencies and delivery risks.\nShare knowledge with team members and contribute to team growth.\nInnovation & Continuous Improvement\nParticipate in modernization initiatives such as technology-stack upgrades, cloud adoption, and engineering productivity improvements.\nContribute to AI-assisted engineering, automation, observability, and resiliency initiatives.\nIdentify opportunities to improve development processes and reduce operational overhead.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.\n2-5 years of software development experience.\nStrong experience in: Java, Spring Boot / Spring Framework, REST APIs, Microservices SQL and database development Git version control Linux environments\nUnderstanding of software design principles and object-oriented programming.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of payment processing or banking products.\nExperience with: PostgreSQL / Oracle Kubernetes / AKSCI/CD pipelines Jenkins / GitHub Actions Docker / Containers Messaging technologies\nExposure to cloud-native application development.\nExperience supporting production systems.\nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nOwnership mindset and accountability.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nCustomer-focused approach.\nEffective communication and collaboration skills.\nContinuous learning attitude.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nSuccess Measures\nTimely delivery of sprint commitments.\nQuality of code and reduced production defects.\nEffective resolution of customer and production issues.\nContribution to automation, modernization, and team productivity initiatives.\nPositive collaboration within and across teams.\nWe are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide.
